me ready for the island .... Hasta la mitad del mundo
last Friday was to get up so early again announced ..... and then wait forever at the airport. For Galapagos, you do not only at least 2 hours before takeoff at the airport but the planes have liked delay. In our case, another 2 hours waiting .....! Good thing I had previously covered with English Reader's Digest! Arrived, we were picked up by bus and ferry and on our first Class ship to be related. The boat was real luxury ... designed for 16 guests, although we were only 9 people. The crew has already passed out of 8 people (bartender, cook etc S also a 2-3 course dinners were included).
Before the crash, we then went to the snorkeling and have in addition to some colorful fish then already seen a shark swim past us .... really creepy! During the lunch, the ship on to the next island, namely San Bartolomé drove. This is purely a volcanic island and we have to run up to the top of the mountain. On this island there are hardly any living thing, because so much magnesium in the soil that plants are poisoned by it, and therefore no animals / .. hardly find food! Back on board we went snorkeling again went in and it was another dinner. The next night the boat is then driven by and in sleep we have the equator to the northern hemisphere toward crosses, so we have arrived in the morning on the island of Genovesa, where we have seen particularly wide range of birds. After landfall, we went snorkeling again ..... and I am swimming again with the sharks and rays, fish .... I have also been seen! After lunch we were on the other side of the island again on shore and then the ship started in the afternoon and overnight to the island of San Cristobal - after crossing the equator - passed. After breakfast we were taken to a museum on the history of the islands, while our guide is the check-in done with our luggage. After strolling, drinking coffee and eating ice cream in Place we were then taken to the airport around noon and flew back to Guayaquil. Late in the afternoon landed in southern Ecuador, we have put ourselves on a walk towards the bus station and are then entered spontaneously in the next bus south. 6 hours later we were already back in right after the border in Ecuador Tumbes. Apparently there should be no other bus that evening more to the south, as one who should leave within 10 minutes, but was already booked. The bus driver wanted to but we can not sleep in the aisle of the bus and it has all looked as if we really in a bad, dangerous-looking town, where on the other Side of the road just a gas bottle exploded, remain should. I was walking around in any case and have the passengers Sol 10 (= 2.50 €) taken when me her bus ticket ........... and 5 minutes later we were selling on the bus are nearest morning arrived safely in Chiclayo. And their luggage for breakfast, we decided to visit the graves of the Lords of Sipan, and go to a few gold museums in the region. And again we continued by night bus - finally back to Lima. Yesterday arrived so early in Lima, we went to our couch surfers have Marco and his other guests (all from the USA) met. After extensive showers are We then gone off in the city had strolled in two museums (the Museum of the Nation and the Gold Museum), have eaten ice cream, watching the sunset on the cliff face and are finally back to Marco. After one or two Pisco Sour, we are all going together then eat Chinese, and again the day was over. Today - on my last day in South America - we go's at all comfortable. Sleep was announced (after I'm all last week always stood between 4-7 Clock in the morning), later this evening and then grabbed Gabriel and I then cook for Marco and a few of his friends .... a proper farewell dinner. Tomorrow morning it's off to the airport and about 36 hours later komme ich dann am Samstag Abend am Passauer Hauptbahnhof an!!!!
Fotos stelle ich dann in der Nacht von Samstag auf Sonntag wieder rein.....da ich ja sowieso nicht schlafen darf um dem Jetleg nicht zu erliegen....!
Liebe Grüße nun also ein letztes Mal aus Lima,
eure Vreni
